University in Order to Take Two Steps Forward.

Did you attend university? These days,  more people go to university than in the past according to data relesed by Statisitics Korea. They start working later, and with more qualifications. Is this a good thing or bad thing? I think this is a good thing. University is a way to learn more about what I am interested in. University is the nurseries of promising talent. In addition, university has a lot of merit.
First, we can learn various things in university. University teach various liberal arts as well as a major. University has a very broad range of cultural subjects we can study. We can choice and learn more about what I am interested in. Students learn the accountability of choice. We also learn how to solve problems and work together through team project.
Second, when we are an undergraduate is an opportune time to try us chance at something new. Undergraduate has many advantages such as student discount, scholarship, and so on. Therefore, students cost comparatively few money at trying something new. Also, university students have a lot of free time. University students can enjoy long summer vacations and winter vacations. University students have time to try something with less money. It is very good chance.
Finally, we can also make connections with various people in university. The old saying goes that it's not what you know, it's who you know. Strong connections with a variety of people will become your biggest asset in the near future.
University is one step backward in order to take two steps forward. Going to a university is investing in our future. I think it is good that more people go to university than in the past and it is not a big problem.

Blog Post #5

This semester we have focused a lot on not only producing knowledge, through blog posts and comments, but also knowledge ownership, by using proper citation.
Thanks to this class, my own experience from the blog writing has changed my understanding of knowledge production and knowledge ownership. As Gary said, if we submitted our assignment in a paper, I will send it to the rubbish pile. However, by writing my paragraph on to my blog, I can’t send it to the rubbish pile. Therefore, I can see my paragraph again because it remain on my blog unless I delete my posting. Also, I usually neglect writing a proper citation. I didn't realize how much until I learn a citation in Gary class. Now that I've learned about citation, I will use all of citation if the knowledge is from outside source. Blog posting gave me both understanding of knowledge production and knowledge ownership.

1) What has the comments others have posted on my blog taught me about my own writing?
The comments others have posred on my blog is very good things in my writing. They told me about my mistake words and insufficient explanation in my paragraph, so I could find out my mistake and insufficiency. Also, we could share various ideas about writing topic. We have shared each other's opinions with respect. Therefore, we could talk freely about any topic. I would be intrigued to here others' views about various topic now and for ever :)

2) What have the comments I have posted on other blogs taught me about writing?
I mostly empathize with their posting and advice a proper contents according  to Gary's lights. From that, I have been able to learn many things. A Travel with a Companion

Do you like to travel? I like to travel. Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. My case falls under the former. I prefer to travel with my family and my best friend. Traveling with a companion is a lot of fun. In addition, traveling with a companion has a lot of merit for three reasons.
First, traveling with a companion is cheaper than traveling alone. When planning a travel, you must reckon in the accommodation. If you are traveling alone, you have to pay for the room alone. On the other hand, if you are traveling with a companion, you can share to pay for the room with them. Also, most people have a desire to eat many different foods. It will be expensive to buy many different foods. However, if you are traveling with a companion, you can share many different foods with them for a nominal amount of money.
Second, traveling with a companion is safer than traveling alone. A lot of things happen during a trip. Therefore, it is very important to stay in touch with someone when you are in a strange place. If a serious matter happen to me, my companion will know my problem and help me.
Finally, it can share memories with other people. Shared memories let us hear, smell, taste, and feel again. You can open ‘the memory box’ with a companion at any time. It is pleasant for us to reminisce about good memories.
In short, traveling with a companion is cheaper and safer than traveling alone. Plus, it can share many memories with other people.

The Ideal Space To Feel Concentrated

The ideal space for me to feel concentrated should be comfortable, bright, and quiet. Fortunately, my room meets these qualifications.
First, my room is comfortable. If I open the door of my room, I can see directly a white large bed into my room. This bed occupies half of my room, and desk and piano occupy the other half of my room. Because my room is very small, everything is at staff's end. Therefore I don't need to move to pick up something. This structure makes me feel comfortable.
Second, my room is bright. There are three fluorescent lamp in my room, so it is very bright.
Light is really important thing when I study. The gray light is hard on the eyes. For this reason, I prefer a room with lighting and my room is so bright.
Finally, my room is quiet. Because I have a room to myself, my room is very quiet unless I make a noise.
In sort, my room is comfortable, bright, and quiet. This is just what I want the ideal space to feel concentrated.

How Does Seoul Influence How I Live

I have lived in Seoul since I was born. Then, how does Seoul influence how I live? I tell you about this now.
Seoul makes me enjoy a harsh world. Seoul is very fast moving so I was agitated. I was so tired, but I had to keep studying and working. I couldn't stop it because I started to fall behind when I stop. Therefor I was trying to find a way to be happy myself without a stop. So now, I find a way to enjoy my life without a stop. My mother often say we have to appreciatre every moment of our lives. I am thankful for everything that's happened to me. Think of it this way. Even small things makes me happy. You will laugh more than you have ever laughed before. Laughing increase the endorphin activity in our body resulting in a sense of well-being.
I am living a happy life thaks to the hardship in Seoul. Seoul have influenced my life. I love Seoul so I will keep live in Seoul:)
